The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX) and the visiting Lockney Longhorns (Lockney, TX), witnessed Lubbock Christian's softball team overcome Lockney by a margin of 11-1.

The Eagles now sport a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ira for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 17. Lubbock Christian will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 14-13 league win over Westbrook (Westbrook, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Lockney moves to 7-16 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Memphis (Memphis, TX) to encounter the Cyclones in a 2A Region I District 2 outing on Friday, April 18. The Cyclones come into the outing with a record of 2-7.
