In Tuesday's non-league test, the Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mar Vista Mariners (Imperial Beach, CA), by a tally of 10-1.
Next, the Mustangs clash with the Olympian Eagles (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 17. Otay Ranch will attempt to advance on its 8-9 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 4-8 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Coronado (Coronado, CA).
The Mariners (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Helix (La Mesa, CA). The Highlanders go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Helix prevailed over Ramona (Ramona, CA), 7-1, in a non-league test.
