Indiana High School Softball - New Castle defeated by Shelbyville

The New Castle Trojans softball squad (New Castle, IN), was routed 10-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Shelbyville Golden Bears (Shelbyville, IN)

With the triumph, Shelbyville improves its record to 6-5 on the year. The Golden Bears host Delta (Muncie, IN) to face the Eagles in a Hoosier Heritage contest on Friday, April 18. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 2-5. Delta lost 13-2 in their recent non-league contest against Centerville (Centerville, IN)

The Trojans now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Centerville for a non-league contest on Friday, April 18. New Castle will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Franklin County (Brookville, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.
