In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Woodlawn Cardinals softball team scored a tight 13-7 win over the Odin/Patoka/Sandoval Eagles.
The Cardinals (5-8) will now prepare for their match against Grayville (Grayville, IL). The Bison come into the Midland Trail match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Grayville nipped North Clay/Clay City (Louisville, IL), 14-4, in a league match.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Okawville Rockets (Okawville, IL) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 16. Odin/Patoka/Sandoval will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Rockets come into the match with a 5-4 record after their 7-6 league loss to Red Bud (Red Bud, IL).
