Illinois High School Baseball - Arcola defeats Salt Fork

April 15, 2026: Sidell, IL 61876

In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Arcola Purple Riders baseball team scored a close 13-6 victory over the Salt Fork Storm.

The Purple Riders (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Argenta-Oreana (Argenta, IL). The Bombers enter the Lincoln Prairie game with a 11-2 record. In their last game, Argenta-Oreana held off Heyworth (Heyworth, IL), 8-7, in a non-league game.

Next, the Storm face the Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL) in a Vermilion Valley game, on Friday, April 17. Salt Fork will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 4-7 record after their 4-1 league win over Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL).
