Indiana High School Baseball - Hanover Central nipped by Lyons

In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) baseball squad nipped the host Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN), by a score of 4-3.

Next up, the Lions encounter the Proviso East Pirates (Maywood, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 18. Lyons will attempt to advance on its 10-2 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 4-8 record after their 21-0 league loss to Addison Trail (Addison, IL).

The Wildcats (7-2) will now prepare for their bout against Penn (Mishawaka, IN). The Kingsmen enter the non-league bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, Penn edged South Bend Washington (South Bend, IN), 12-0, in a league bout.
