The Stagg Chargers baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Shepard Astros to 4 in the Chargers non-league win on Wednesday.

The Chargers now hold a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Andrew for a Southwest Suburban test on Thursday, April 16. Stagg will play a Thunderbolts team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, Shepard drops to 4-8 on the year. The Astros travel to Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL) to play the Hawks in a South Suburban - Blue test on Thursday, April 16. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 0-6. Hillcrest lost 31-1 in their recent league test against Lemont (Lemont, IL)
