The Pinkerton Astros triumphed over the host Bedford Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.
Next, the Astros meet the Nashua North Panthers (Nashua, NH) in a Division I challenge, on Friday, April 17. Pinkerton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 11-6 non-league loss to Manchester Central (Manchester, NH).
The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Exeter (Exeter, NH). The Blue Hawks enter the Division I challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Exeter was routed by Nashua South (Nashua, NH), 17-16, in a league challenge.
