Arizona High School Softball - Higley drops to Pinnacle

The Higley Knights softball squad (Gilbert, AZ), was routed 16-3 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Pinnacle Pioneers (Phoenix, AZ)

With the triumph, Pinnacle improves its record to 15-7 on the year. The Pioneers host O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Eagles in a 6A Desert Valley contest on Thursday, April 16. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 12-12. O'Connor lost 5-3 in their recent non-league contest against Xavier College Prep (Phoenix, AZ)

The Knights now hold a 6-17 record. They play next when they travel to Gilbert for a 6A Fiesta contest on Thursday, April 16. Higley will face a Tigers squad coming off a 17-7 league loss to Higley (Gilbert, AZ). The Tigers record now stands at 8-13.
