The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Walkertown Wolfpack (Walkertown, NC) and the host Phoenix Academy Phoenix (High Point, NC), observed Walkertown's softball team notch a victory over Phoenix Academy by a final score of 18-0.

The Wolfpack (15-5) will now prepare for their bout against South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Sauras go into the non-league bout with a 9-7 record. In their last bout, South Stokes was routed by Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC), 2-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Phoenix battle the Bethany Community Wolves (Summerfield, NC) in a Northwest Piedmont 1A/2A bout, on Friday, April 17. Phoenix Academy will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 19-0 league win over The North Carolina Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC).
