Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Cape Hatteras Hurricanes (Buxton, NC), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Redskins confront the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) in a Albemarle 1A challenge, on Wednesday, April 21. Manteo will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Washington (Washington, NC).
The Hurricanes now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Northeastern for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 22.
