St. Xavier Tigers (Louisville, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY), 7-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Xavier upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Madison Central (Richmond, KY) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Monday, April 18. The Indians come into the test with a record of 7-3.
With the defeat, Apollo falls to 6-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Owensboro (Owensboro, KY) to battle the Red Devils in a District 9 test on Tuesday, April 19. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 7-8.
