The Pleasant Plains Cardinals baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Carrollton Hawks to 8 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cardinals (9-5) will now prepare for their match against Pawnee (Pawnee, IL). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Pawnee tipped Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL), 4-1, in a league match.
