Ohio High School Baseball - Franklin Monroe loses to Catholic Central

The Franklin Monroe Jets baseball team (Pitsburg, OH), was overwhelmed 14-3 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Catholic Central Irish (Springfield, OH)

The Irish now hold a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Liberty-Salem for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 19. Catholic Central will confront a Tigers team coming off a 7-1 league win over West Jefferson (West Jefferson, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 4-5.

Next, the Jets confront the Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks (Union City, OH) in a Western Ohio Athletic outing, on Saturday, April 16. Franklin Monroe will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record.
