Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) and the visiting Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC), saw Perquimans's baseball squad knock off Hertford County by a count of 15-2.

Coming up next, the Pirates play the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 18. Perquimans will attempt to move on its 18-0 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 13-5 record after their 14-2 non-league win over Southampton (Courtland, VA).

The Bears now possess a 1-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northeastern for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 20. Hertford County will play a Eagles squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 8-8.
