Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV), 5-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lewis County upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Minutemen travel to Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV) to battle the Colts in a Big Ten test on Monday, April 18. The Colts come into the test with a record of 9-3. Philip Barbour lost 7-6 in their recent league test against Elkins (Elkins, WV)

With the defeat, Point Pleasant falls to 1-8 on the season. The Big blacks travel to Winfield (Winfield, WV) to battle the Generals in a non-league test on Monday, April 18. The Generals come into the test with a record of 12-4. Winfield lost 4-3 in their recent league test against Scott (Madison, WV)
