Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors confront the DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL) in a DuPage Valley challenge, on Monday, April 18. Waubonsie Valley will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Barbs enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Harlem (Machesney Park, IL).

The Warriors now have a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln-Way East for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19. Lincoln-Way West will confront a Griffins team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL). The Griffins record now stands at 8-3.
