The Lynden Lions baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Blaine Borderites to 6 in the Lions non-league victory on Saturday.
The Lions (12-1) will now prepare for their match against Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Burlington-Edison ran past Lakewood (Arlington, WA), 14-1, in a non-league match.
The Borderites (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Mt. Baker (Deming, WA). The Mountaineers go into the non-league match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Mt. Baker was overwhelmed by Squalicum (Bellingham, WA), 17-3, in a non-league match.
