In Saturday's non-league battle, the Fairmont Firebirds (Kettering, OH) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Talawanda Braves (Oxford, OH), by a count of 13-4.
Coming up next, the Firebirds clash with the Miamisburg Vikings (Miamisburg, OH) in a Region 3 battle, on Wednesday, April 20. Fairmont will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record.
The Braves now own a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they host Franklin for a Region 8 battle on Tuesday, April 19. Talawanda will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 25-9 non-league win over Winton Woods (Cincinnati, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-3.
