In Saturday's non-league test, the visiting Watertown Indians lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-6 victory over the Newington Nor'easters.
The Indians now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Paul Catholic for a Naugatuck Valley test on Tuesday, April 19. Watertown will face a Falcons squad coming off a 14-8 non-league win over North Haven (North Haven, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 2-2.
In their next game, the Nor'easters face the South Windsor Bobcats (South Windsor, CT) in a Central Connecticut - North test, on Tuesday, April 19. Newington will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Bobcats come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 10-9 non-league loss to Hamden (Hamden, CT).
