Bagdad Sultans (Bagdad, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Joseph City Wildcats (Joseph City, AZ), 15-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Sultans now own a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Salome for a 1A West challenge on Tuesday, April 19. Bagdad will battle a Frogs squad coming off a 19-4 league loss to Anthem Prep (Anthem, AZ). The Frogs record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Joseph City falls to 15-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats host St. Johns (St. Johns, AZ) to battle the Redskins in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 18. The Redskins enter the challenge with a record of 7-8. St. Johns won 15-4 in their recent league challenge against Many Farms (Many Farms, AZ)
