Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Wauconda Bulldogs (Wauconda, IL), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Fillies/Broncos now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Conant for a Mid-Suburban West challenge on Monday, April 18. Barrington will face a Cougars squad coming off a 8-6 non-league win over Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Wauconda falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL) to face the Knights in a Northern Lake County challenge on Tuesday, April 19. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Grayslake North won 4-1 in their recent league challenge against Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL)
