Alabama High School Softball - Montgomery bounces Blacksher

The Montgomery Vikings routed the visiting Blacksher Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 7-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Vikings (14-19) will now prepare for their battle against Fairhope (Fairhope, AL). The Pirates go into the non-league battle with a 29-2 record. In their last battle, Fairhope nudged Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL), 19-0, in a non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now sport a 16-16 record. They play next when they travel to Orange Beach for a 2A Area 1 battle on Tuesday, April 19. Blacksher will meet a squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Chilton County (Clanton, AL). The record now stands at 16-8.
