The Edinburgh Lancers (Edinburgh, IN) softball routed the host Brown County Eagles (Nashville, IN), 11-5 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Lancers (3-4) will now prepare for their bout against Columbus Christian (Columbus, IN). The Crusaders go into the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.

The Eagles now possess a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Edgewood for a Western Indiana bout on Tuesday, April 19. Brown County will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 13-3 league win over Indian Creek (Trafalgar, IN). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-6.
