Castle Knights (Newburgh, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Tecumseh Braves (Lynnville, IN), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boonville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 16. Castle will battle a Pioneers squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Tecumseh falls to 8-2 on the campaign. The Braves host Boonville (Boonville, IN) to battle the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 16. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a record of 2-4. Boonville lost 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN)
