In Saturday's non-league contest, the McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY) softball team overwhelmed the host Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY), by a margin of 11-1.
With the triumph, McCracken County moves its record to 13-1 on the year. The Mustangs host St. Mary (Paducah, KY) to play the Vikings in a District 2 contest on Monday, April 18. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 0-4. St. Mary lost 5-1 in their recent non-league contest against Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY)
In their next game, the Colonels play the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons (Madisonville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 18. Christian County will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record.
