Arizona High School Softball - Winslow nudges Fernley

Winslow Bulldogs (Winslow, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 19-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Christian for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 16. Winslow will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to Arbor View (Las Vegas, NV). The Patriots record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Fernley falls to 11-4 on the campaign. The Vaqueros travel to Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA) to battle the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 16. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 6-5. Birmingham lost 7-4 in their recent non-league challenge against San Benito (Hollister, CA)
