Kentucky High School Softball - Harrison County bounces Russell

April 16, 2022: Russell, KY 41169

The Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY) softball routed the host Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY), 12-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Thorobreds (7-1) will now prepare for their bout against Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH). The Blue Devils go into the non-league bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Gallia Academy was routed by Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY), 11-1, in a non-league bout.

The Red Devils now possess a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Corbin for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 16. Russell will confront a Redhounds squad coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Redhounds record now stands at 6-5.
