The Imperial Tigers routed the host Lowry Buckaroos softball squad by a final score of 9-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Tigers (7-12) will now prepare for their battle against Palo Verde Valley (Blythe, CA). The Yellow Jackets go into the Desert battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Palo Verde Valley was routed by Needles (Needles, CA), 7-1, in a non-league battle.

The Buckaroos now possess a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Spring Creek for a 3A North - East battle on Friday, April 22. Lowry will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 17-1 league loss to Fernley (Fernley, NV). The Spartans record now stands at 12-4.
