The Larkin Royals softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting St. Edward Green Wave to 3 in the Royals non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Larkin moves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Royals host Bartlett (Bartlett, IL) to clash with the Hawks in a Upstate Eight game on Monday, April 18. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 3-4. Bartlett won 7-4 in their recent league game against Fenton (Bensenville, IL)
In their next game, the Green Wave clash with the Streamwood Sabres (Streamwood, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 16. St. Edward will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Sabres come into the game with a 0-5 record after their 18-0 league loss to South Elgin (South Elgin, IL).
