North Carolina High School Softball - Lawrence Academy thwarted by Perquimans

The Lawrence Academy Warriors softball team (Merry Hill, NC), was routed 16-4 in Saturday's non-league test with the host Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC)

Coming up next, the Pirates clash with the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 16. Perquimans will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record. The Aces come into the test with a 7-8 record after their 11-5 league win over First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC).

The Warriors (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC). The Rams come into the NCISAA Tarheel test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Ridgecroft was routed by Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC), 8-3, in a league test.
