Indiana High School Softball - Rising Sun bounces Northeastern

The Rising Sun Shiners (Rising Sun, IN) softball routed the visiting Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN), 8-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Shiners (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Triton Central (Fairland, IN). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Triton Central was routed by Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN), 18-1, in a non-league bout.

The Knights now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Batesville for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 16. Northeastern will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Madison (Madison, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-5.
