St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL), 12-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Fighting Saints now sport a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenbard North for a DuKane challenge on Monday, April 18. St. Charles East will face a Panthers squad coming off a 14-1 league win over Geneva (Geneva, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Plainfield North falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Minooka (Minooka, IL) to face the Indians in a Suburban Prairie - South challenge on Monday, April 18. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 7-2. Minooka won 7-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL)
