In Sunday's non-league battle, the visiting Highland Park Giants soccer squad scored a close 4-0 win over the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers.
The Giants (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Maine East (Park Ridge, IL). The Blue Demons go into the non-league battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Maine East nipped Proviso West (Hillside, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Hilltoppers (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL). The Spartans go into the East Suburban Catholic battle with a 2-12 record. In their last battle, Marian Catholic by Benet Academy (Lisle, IL), 8-0, in a league battle.
