Indiana High School Baseball - Blackford defeats Marion

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN) and the host Marion Giants (Marion, IN), saw Blackford's baseball squad beat Marion by a margin of 10-3.

Coming up next, the Bruins play the Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN) in a Central Indiana battle, on Thursday, April 18. Blackford will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Wabash (Wabash, IN).

The Giants now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Muncie Central for a North Central battle on Saturday, April 20. Marion will play a Bearcats squad coming off a 20-1 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon (Fortville, IN). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-4.
