Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Washington Patriots (Charles Town, WV) and the visiting Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA), saw Washington's baseball squad edge Broad Run by a count of 4-3.

Coming up next, the Patriots play the Spring Mills Cardinals (Martinsburg, WV) in a Eastern Panhandle battle, on Wednesday, April 17. Washington will attempt to move on its 10-8 season record.
