In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA) lacrosse squad routed the host Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), by a count of 15-5.
Coming up next, the Hawks confront the Patrick Henry Patriots (Ashland, VA) in a Capital contest, on Thursday, April 18. Hanover will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 18-17 league loss to Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA).
The Mustangs now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Orange County for a Jefferson contest on Friday, April 19. Monticello will confront a Fighting Hornets squad coming off a 22-7 non-league win over Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Fighting Hornets record now stands at 1-5.
