Rhode Island High School Lacrosse - Smithfield can't get by Middletown

In Tuesday's league test, the host Middletown Islanders lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-11 victory over the Smithfield Sentinels.
The Islanders now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Burrillville for a Division 2 test on Friday, April 19. Middletown will face a Broncos squad coming off a 17-3 non-league loss to Wheeler (North Stonington, CT). The Broncos record now stands at 1-2.
In their next game, the Sentinels face the Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) in a Division 2 test, on Friday, April 19. Smithfield will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Patriots come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 15-4 league loss to Middletown (Middletown, RI).
