The Warde Mustangs lacrosse team scored 14 points and held the host Trumbull Eagles to 9 in the Mustangs league win on Tuesday.
The Mustangs (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Pomperaug was overwhelmed by Joel Barlow (Redding, CT), 17-7, in a league match.
The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Shelton (Shelton, CT). The Gaels go into the non-league match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Shelton was overwhelmed by Foran (Milford, CT), 16-8, in a league match.
