In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host St. Pius X Lancers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Central Tigers.
The Lancers (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Saxony Lutheran (Jackson, MO). The Crusaders go into the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Saxony Lutheran nipped Poplar Bluff (Poplar Bluff, MO), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Tigers (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Farmington (Farmington, MO). The Knights go into the Class 3 District 1 battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Farmington was nudged by Sikeston (Sikeston, MO), 2-1, in a league battle.
