Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA), 22-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lewis & Clark for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 18. Mead will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 20-3 non-league loss to University (Spokane, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Ferris falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Saxons host Cheney (Cheney, WA) to battle the Blackhawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Blackhawks enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Cheney lost 39-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA)
