Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Branford drops to Shelton

In Tuesday's league test, the visiting Shelton Gaels lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-4 victory over the Branford Hornets.

The Gaels now have a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Foran for a Southern Connecticut test on Thursday, April 18. Shelton will face a Lions squad coming off a 11-9 league loss to Sheehan (Wallingford, CT). The Lions record now stands at 3-3.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Hamden Green Dragons (Hamden, CT) in a Southern Connecticut test, on Friday, April 19. Branford will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Green Dragons come into the test with a 2-4 record after their 6-2 league win over West Haven (West Haven, CT).
