The River Bluff Gators soccer team scored 4 points and limited the visiting Aiken Fighting Green Hornets to 2 in the Gators non-league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Gators face the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes (Irmo, SC) in a AAAAA Region 4 contest, on Friday, April 19. River Bluff will attempt to better on its 14-2 season record. The Silver Foxes enter the contest with a 16-3 record after their 1-1 league Chapin (Chapin, SC).
The Fighting Green Hornets now have a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they host South Aiken for a AAAA Region 4 contest on Friday, April 19. Aiken will face a Thoroughbreds team coming off a 5-0 league win over Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC). The Thoroughbreds record now stands at 6-5.
