Anderson County Mavericks (Clinton, TN) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Clinton Dragons (Clinton, TN), 4-3 in a league challenge.

Next, the Mavericks face the Oneida Indians (Oneida, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 18. Anderson County will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Harriman (Harriman, TN).

The Dragons now have a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scott for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. Clinton will face a Highlanders team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Claiborne (New Tazewell, TN). The Highlanders record now stands at 3-4.
