The Eagles now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Landrum for a AA Region 1 challenge on Friday, April 19. Chesnee will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Liberty (Liberty, SC). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Blacksburg falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Liberty (Liberty, SC) to face the Red Devils in a AA Region 1 challenge on Friday, April 19. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Liberty won 19-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Brashier Middle College Charter (Simpsonville, SC)
