Mountain View Mavericks (Meridian, ID) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Boise Brave (Boise, ID), 11-2 in a league challenge.

The Mavericks now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they host Borah for a 5A Southern Idaho challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Mountain View will battle a Lions squad coming off a 6-5 league win over Middleton (Middleton, ID). The Lions record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Boise falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Brave travel to Nampa (Nampa, ID) to battle the Bulldogs in a 5A Southern Idaho challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 7-6. Nampa won 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Timberline (Boise, ID)
