In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Boyne Falls Loggers softball team scored a tight 23-20 victory over the Mackinaw City Comets.
The Loggers (1-1) will now prepare for their match against St.Ignace (St. Ignace, MI). The Saints go into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Comets battle the Harbor Light Christian Swordsmen (Harbor Springs, MI) in a Northern Lakes match, on Thursday, May 2. Mackinaw City will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
