Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting DCP Alum Rock Lobos (San Jose, CA), 32-16 in a non-league challenge.

The Lancers now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Lorenzo for a West Alameda County-Shoreline challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Tennyson will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 15-5 league loss to Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, DCP Alum Rock falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Lobos host Luis Valdez Leadership Academy (San Jose, CA) to face the Lions in a PSAL challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Luis Valdez Leadership Academy lost 12-11 in their recent league challenge against KIPP San Jose Collegiate (San Jose, CA)
