Indiana High School Softball - South Knox can't get by Forest Park

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Forest Park Rangers (Ferdinand, IN) softball team held off the host South Knox Spartans (Vincennes, IN), by a margin of 8-7.
With the triumph, Forest Park moves its record to 4-6 on the year. The Rangers travel to Barr-Reeve (Montgomery, IN) to play the Vikings in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 18. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 4-2. Barr-Reeve lost 6-2 in their recent league contest against Northeast Dubois (Dubois, IN)
In their next game, the Spartans play the Shoals Jug Rox (Shoals, IN) in a Blue Chip contest, on Thursday, April 18. South Knox will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Jug Rox come into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 14-1 non-league loss to Eastern Greene (Bloomfield, IN).
