The Rome Free Academy Black Knights (Rome, NY) softball routed the host Holland Patent Golden Knights (Holland Patent, NY), 9-2 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Black Knights (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Central Square (Central Square, NY). The Redhawks go into the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Central Square held off Oswego (Oswego, NY), 5-3, in a league bout.

The Golden Knights now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Camden for a Section 3 Tri-Valley bout on Monday, April 22.
